Here’s a picture from the archives. This was taken November 2, 2005. As you can see, there are no doors or windows in the house, the cockpit roof has not been built, and a couple guys are shingling the roof. We were fortunate that year construction-wise in that the first snow didn’t come until early December. Last year, on the other hand, a terrible blizzard blew in on November 5th and 6th and knocked out electrical power to some people in the area for up to three weeks. Incredibly, we did not lose power at Wingsprings.
