Sunrise on the 5th of February–2009. Another pic from the archives. Incredibly, could not find a picture taken during this week in 2005-2007. There are, however, a few landscape pics from 2008. The photo above was taken from the cockpit looking west along the Wingsprings west-east axis. Notice that the shadow of the cockpit is to the right, or north, of the axis [a line running along the shingled roof ridge and then on to the Butte on the distant horizon is on that axis]. In about three weeks the sunrise shadow of the cockpit will be directly on the axis.
