Saturday afternoon we received a light cover of snow that accentuated the fence line between the Wingsprings “reserve” and the grazing pasture beyond. The reserve has not been grazed in 27 months, so the covering plants are taller and thicker than in the pasture. Therefore, the snow is not as readily visible. If you look closely in the center of the picture you can see a section of the reserve’s meandering walking path. Because it is mowed, it looks a lot like the pasture under these conditions.
