This week Corey and Nick installed engineered flooring in the three cabins. Their major challenge was to cut the 53’ arc out of the first pair of boards in such a way that the straight uncut edge of those boards was parallel with the back wall of the cabin. They did a good job. In the photo above they are installing the second row of interlocking boards over the thin foam rubber pad. The padding came in rolls. When installed, its overlapping seams were taped (in this case with red tape).

Two more photos: the one above shows a cabin floor about half complete. The photo below is of a finished floor. We still need to install a baseboard, and a sill at the door, but the floor itself is in place.
