Corey (R) and Beau (L) conditioned 8” tongue & groove boards, stained them, cut them and installed them on Tuesday as the ceiling in the library’s east entry. In the photo above, they have just nailed up the fifth of nine boards. The first and ninth boards are tough to cut because one of their edges is curved. The first (inner) board, farthest to the right in the picture above, has a 48’ – 2 1/2” radius on its inner edge that abuts the header. The ninth board (not yet installed in the photo above) has a 52’ – 9 1/2” radius on its outer edge that will abut what is now the sheet rocked wall behind Beau in the photo above.
