Yesterday morning Claire painted the wall panels that had been covered with the new Total Wall material. Its a stucco-like finish material that trowels directly onto the existing stucco. It is sort of elastic and sets up quickly to a hard finish. After a day it can be painted. We are using a color called “chaps.” No idea how that name implies the paint’s orangish color, which you can see on the panel already painted. The Total Wall material comes in 5-gallon buckets and is ready to trowel on without any mixing or stirring.
