Around noon today i went back to check on the young buck that was dead in the pond, and that is described in Oko 34. Back then i wondered if the coyotes would drag the carcass out of the water and indeed they did. They drug it directly onto the walking path! And between them and other critters and insects the skeleton is picked pretty clean. The picture below gives another view of skeleton looking along the path. By the way, found one of the deer’s legs way over near the wicoti, which is to the left (east) of the tree in the far top-left corner of the picture below.
