We are continuing to work in the library building shelves. Here Corey is installing a mid-span support bracket he cut, sanded and faced. The function of the unfinished “buttress” in the left-center has yet to be figured out. There are two of them–one under yet truss. And there are two half-buttresses, one against each of the sidewalls. You can see the east one along the far right side of the photo above. They are narrow and serve mostly an aesthetic purpose.
