This unfortunate willow tree is being killed by some bug or worm or insect. Whatever it is, it has nearly encased the entire tree in a web. If you look close, you can see the webbing up and down the two main trunks and along all the branches. The webs continue onto the ground. Maybe if a frost would come soon the bugs would be killed?
