Today, Sunday, is Dad’s birthday. Mom was here for the first of what will be an annual changing of the windsock on March 19th. Last year we installed the windsock on March 29th (see Oko 6, 2016). The windsock is fastened to the swiveling mechanism with zip ties. So it was an easy process of cutting off the old ties and then fastening on the new sock using new ties. Had to stand in the bed of the side by side to do it. Today we also heard meadowlarks singing for the first time this year, which is neat since both Mom and i think of Dad when we hear meadowlarks.
