Saturday mid-afternoon. The grass is greening up, and is especially evident in the mowed areas. If you use your imagination, you can see turtle shells glistening along the far shore of the pond. There were lots of them, but as soon as they saw me they slipped quickly into the water and beneath the surface. The frogs were all croaking too, raising a racket until i got too close then they went silent.
