Wednesday morning this bull snake crawled across the hocoka. Since Jacob and Kaitlin had not seen such a long snake before, we measured it: 4.5 feet. In the picture above, the snake is heading eastward. In particular, directly toward me! So i snapped the pic and got out of the way.
