See the five geese just above the horizon? They surprised me this evening as i was returning down the ridge as the sun was setting, flying by real low just off my right shoulder, heading south. Almost for sure they were headed to the Lacreek National Wildlife Refuge about seven miles or so away, but still, seeing them going south kindles a spark of the change of seasons from summer to fall.
