Wednesday, Mom and I planted six ornamental trees in the hocoka. This was the first. And just to be clear, she supervised while I did the digging! (That is her supervisor’s chair near the window.) The ground was so hard that I had to use the steel bar to break it up before shoveling it out to create the hole. The second tree we planted is the smaller one near Mom’s chair.
