Thursday afternoon i started this project on a whim. It involves enhancing or defining the shoulder of the road from the house to the gate. One hoped for benefit of this is that the bladed dirt/gravel mix can be used to build up the surface of the road. Another benefit is that a sharp shoulder will help the wind blow snow off the road instead of creating drifts across it. This afternoon i was able to shape the “south” shoulder all the way to the gate.
