Friday was the second of two days that students and faculty from Oglala Lakota College and Little Wound High School spent at Wingsprings under the leadership of botanists Mark Gabel and Grace Kostel. It was humbling that the Wingsprings sanctuary could serve as an excellent place to study indigenous plants. Projects and opportunities such as these are ones that i truly believe Dad would have thoroughly enjoyed.
