Kenny and his crew came out Thursday morning to install the new autogate along 226th Avenue. From right to left they are Harlan, Kenny and Travis. After they installed it and left, i got to looking at things and realized that it would work better if the autogate's south end (the left side in the photo above) was pivoted 3-4 feet westward (away from the viewer). So on Friday i dug along the west side (where Travis is tamping) and the north end, and pivoted the autogate into its final position. By the way, the orange paint and flag in the foreground are indicating there the fiberoptic cable is underground.
