Dan and i worked a couple mornings this week on the cockpit. About a month ago, we removed the north cockpit window and stored it in the garage. Then we moved the south cockpit window where the north window had been. We are now waiting for the new south cockpit window to arrive so we can install it. In the meantime, we removed all the existing cedar siding on the four sides of the cockpit, painted the new siding, and was able to nail on the bottom two courses on the north and east walls. In the photo above, Dan is notching the second northside piece so it will fit around the north window.
