Monday, Dec 12, to Sunday, Dec 18, 2022: high 36, low -2, gust 59 mph, moisture 0.01"

A huge snow storm blew in Monday night and kept blowing and snowing until Friday afternoon. Snow typically drifts into the hochoka, but this time the drift moved up against the library wall and eventually continued up onto the roof! This picture was taken around 7:30 Friday morning from the library looking over Dad’s table and out the window toward the hochoka. That rabbit is about seven feet agove the ground! It was surprising for me to look up to see her, and i’m imagining that it was surprising for her to look down and see me. This storm dumped up to two feet of snow across the county.
