What a surprising Saturday morning sight! A flock of at least 28 turkeys walking south at 8:30. The collective noun for a group of flock of turkeys is a rafter or a gaggle. Since we are still in the construction phase here at Wingsprings, the term rafter resonates with me. A trail camera located down by the springs (located just to the left or south of the left edge of the photo above) captured images of some turkeys around 12:30. No way to know if they were some of these or not.
