Another beautiful Wingsprings sunset, this one Saturday evening. The picture was taken at 8 o’clock. Fabulous orange coloring in the sky and the bottoms of the clouds. Its a color that the Wingsprings drum walls are based on. On the horizon line to the south/left of the setting sun is the Butte, barely discernable. Growing up as a little boy over at Bear Creek, the Butte seemed to be one of the largest mountains in the world. Jutting in from the right of the frame is the pointed brow of the house roof which is directly on axis to the Butte, to home.
