A trail camera captured the above image of a coyote just after one o’clock, Thursday afternoon. The high temperature that day was 53 degrees at 1:00 with a 9 mph breeze that had no effect on the “feels like” temperature. Then, by 1:30, the temperature dropped to 48 and the wind picked up to 18 mph which caused the feels like temp to fall to 42 degrees. Between those times is when the coyote was traveling up the draw, heading south, and almost certainly left the sanctuary shortly.
